Great Days of Service!



Much was accomplished last Saturday September 22nd at Van Alstyne Great Days of Service.  Members of the Saddlebound Kids 4-H Club of Grayson County met at the home of an elderly Van Alstyne resident to assist her with needed repairs and home improvements. 



The kids raked leaves, picked up trash and had a terrific time time visiting with Ms. Juanita.   "We went out there expecting to help a person in need, but we were the lucky ones because we met a really nice lady." 



The members of Saddlebound Kids would like to thank the Great Days of Service organization for giving the kids the opportunity to serve the community and to make a new friend.
